Fireplace wood is a renewable energy source of full value. Hardwood burns longer that coniferous wood and produces more heat. The mood built up by the wood burning in the fireplace cannot be overestimated either.
Poland should acquire 7.5 per cent of energy from renewable sources by 2013 and in 2020 it should be as much as 20 per cent – informed Grażyna Gęsicka, the minister of regional development, during the Polish-Swedish conference on Bioenergetics that was held in Warsaw. In 2007-2013, Poland will receive a huge support from the EU budget for coherence policy (including, but not limited to, development of renewable energy).
